Cheap Tickets for Concerts
When choosing to attend a concert at a Las Vegas venue, it is important to purchase tickets early as some of the more popular shows sell out soon after the tickets go on sale. Later on, if for some reason you cannot make the concert, you can always resale your tickets on eBay, craigslist, Ticketmaster exchange, or any other ticket resale website (for hot tickets you can usually recoup all of your money back).
This is also true if you want to attend a sold-out concert; you may be able to find tickets with great seats on one of the resale websites. Also, for sold-out concerts, if you are a guest at the hotel where the venue is located, you can always check with the VIP Host and/or Casino Marketing for concert tickets. Many times, the hotel holds a block of concert tickets for its guests as an incentive for loyalty and spending literally a ton of money gaming, at its restaurants and shops.
Las Vegas Concerts Guide
If you do plan on attending an outdoor concert (usually during New Years’, for example at Mandalay Bay Beach or Fremont Street) make sure that you check the weather forecast to ensure you wear appropriate attire as Las Vegas confirms the four seasons.
Since many of the venues are located inside the hotels, it is important to arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the concert so that you can locate the venue, pick up any tickets from will call, grab a cocktail and locate your seat. For will call tickets to arrive at least 2 hours prior to the event time, the ticket purchaser needs to present a picture ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Checkbox office hours prior to arrival.
Entrance to the Venue
If you drive to the venue there is usually a parking structure or valet in close proximity to the venue.
We recommend calling the venue ahead of time to obtain this information or you can always ask the Attendant at the main valet of the hotel.
Also, if you take a taxi, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest entrance to the venue believe us; Taxi Drivers know where to go.
No smoking zone
Although Las Vegas Hotels and Casinos allow smoking within certain areas, venues are generally a no-smoking zone so please keep this in mind during the show. If you would like to smoke during the show there may be a nearby lounge or terrace that you could step onto.
The other alternative is exiting the venue to a nearby smoking area, although you will need to check with the venue staff to ensure you can re-enter and make sure you have your ticket stub!
Many of the venues do not allow photography or video during the show; call the venue ahead of time for specific policies.
Usually, after the concert is over there is a mass exit of concert-goers, so be sure to take your time in exiting, watch for steps and equipment.
